部屋は狭いですが、イギリス風と言えばいいのか、アンティーク調の感じのいいお部屋でした。ベッドはやや硬く、また湯沸かし器がついていましたが、壊れていたのか使えなかったことが残念でした。部屋には、ティーバッグやインスタントコーヒーが用意されていました。ただ、機会があれば、また泊まりたいと思います。

大英博物館からすぐ。ナショナルギャラリーなどにも歩いて行けるという便利な場所にあります。安くておいしいレストランも近所にあり滞在にはとてもよいホテルです。お湯もたっぷり出るし、バスタブもあるのはいいです。フロントの人たちも親切です。冷蔵庫や金庫がないのは不安要素ですが、冷蔵庫は戸外に出しておいてクリアしました。朝食は高かったので付けませんでした。近所で食べられるので不便はありません。

朝食でコンチネンタルかイングリッシュかを選べました。一人ずつ卵やハムが 出されました。

地下鉄の駅に近く、大英博物館にも近くて、朝食もおいしかったです。夏時間に変わった日のせいか朝食の料理人が３０分遅刻してきた以外は満足です。価格はロンドンの相場からするなら妥当といえるのではないでしょうか。ヨーロッパ系の熟年夫婦の旅行者が多く宿泊していました。

地の利はピカイチ便利です。朝食もかなりのボリュームです。何より秀逸は、お風呂のお湯がかなりの勢いで、驚くほどでした。ただ帰国朝のモーニングコールを頼んでいたのに、１時間ほど過ぎてから”電話が故障していた”と部屋に言いにきました。
