フロントで黒人スタッフにadvanceのコピーを渡すと、「知らない。何も聞いていない。今、６０ドル支払わない宿泊できない。」と答えた。 私はそれでも、「そんなはずはない。そのコピーを確認して欲しい。」と伝え、その間パスポートの提示２回、ビザカード２回・・・黒人は、アメリカンエキスプレスならすぐわかるとか何とかへらへらと、バカにしたようにまくし立て、我慢も限界だったので警察を呼ぼうとした所、隣にいたゲストが、「 おい！彼女が困ってるじゃないか！」と叱りつけたので、あっさり黒人は部屋のカードキーを渡した。 その後も、「日本語知らないから”Ｈｅｔｅｌ ｃｌｕｂ”に確認できなかったと、言い訳ばかりで、アトランタ空港のしつこいチェックに疲れている所に追い討ちでぐったり。部屋には、バスタオルもおいてなかった。翌日のフロントの女性は悪くなかったが、もうこりごり。 サインはしていないがカード詐欺が気になったので、２日前そちらへ「大丈夫でしょうか？」とメールしました。
