人民路から100ｍほど入ったところで、観前街も徒歩５分という好立地でした。雨の朝、人民路でﾀｸｼｰを拾おうとしましたが、ラッシュアワーで出来ませんでした。そこでホテルに戻り、タクシーを呼んで欲しいとベルボーイに頼むと、傘を折って外に出ていったので、驚いて玄関井出ると、人民路に出てタクシーを拾おうとしてくれていました。都心部にありながら、ﾀｸｼｰはあまりこのホテルに立ち寄らないようです。でも、彼の行動には驚きながら、感心しました。
