フエの概要
1802年から1945年の間、阮朝王朝の首都として栄えてきた古都、フエ。現在では、ベトナム有数の観光地となっています。人口35万人ほどのフエは、人気の旅行先としてのベトナムの地位を押し上げるのに、重要な役割を果たしてきました。海辺のリゾートだけでは飽き足らなくなった人々が、建築、文化、料理、歴史と多様な魅力を持つフエに集まるようになってきたのです。 フエの建造物群は、ユネスコの世界遺産にも指定されており、ますます観光客の増加につながっています。香江のほとりに広がる旧市街には、フエ紫禁城とも呼ばれる王宮をはじめとする阮朝ゆかりの建造物の数々が、自然に溶け込むように佇んでいます。フエには、ティエン・ムー寺などの寺院、数々の帝廟などもあります。タンタン温泉やトゥアン・アンビーチなどで、リラックスするのもよいでしょう。毎年行われるフエ祭には、多くの人出が見込まれます。フエの見どころ
